Level 11: Stillness Without Effort
The state formerly entered by force becomes the resting state.
Description
Reconstructed by analogy. Every serious internal tradition describes a point at which the meditative state stops being something entered and becomes something inhabited, including during ordinary waking activity. Mo Pai does not describe this explicitly, but the reported behaviour of advanced practitioners implies something like it.
Practice
- Reconstructed. No lineage method known.
How it is tested
Unknown.
Sources for this entry
- The classical neidan corpus — Zhong-Lü texts, Wuzhen pian, Longmen commentaries, and the wider internal alchemy literature — the actual technical parent of Mo Pai's methods.
